a compass for no where
bass wood, plexi glass, paper, laser cut

This project was done in collaboration with Narratives and Time Society, as part of a public event held on the centenary anniversary of the Halifax Explosion. The event led community members through public space that had been demolished by the explosion, punctuated with alternative stories of the explosion that are missing from the national narrative. This tool-object is a compass not intended to guide the viewer anywhere but back to the centre pivot, the body in space.

Edition of 100 units with a central pivot, distributed for a public event Narratives in Space and Time Society
