Angela Henderson is a visual artist and educator based in Kjipuktuk, Mi’kma’ki (Halifax, Nova Scotia). Working across drawing, sculpture, and installation,
her practice explores the intersections of the nature, memory, and the unconscious.Through her work, she considers complex relationships between botanical imagery, scientific illustration, and subjective knowledge creation. Drawing on personal and collective histories, she reimagines botanical drawing as a site where intuition and observation meet. Henderson's work, often conceived as "counter-archives," invite contemplation on how knowledge is created, and shared, particularly in the context of ecological crises.
